Victoria Secret Hair and Body Mist: Heavenly Summer Review

I normally can not stand the laundry scent of Victoria Secret’s Heavenly perfume but when I got a whiff of Heavenly Summer I knew I need it for myself. I picked up the Victoria Secret Hair and Body Mist in Heavenly Summer to help with second day hair dry ends. Click down below to see what I think of it!

What it promises:

Summer romance starts with our fresh, limited-edition eau de parfum in a frosted glass bottle with touches of rose gold.

Fragrance family: Fresh

Notes: Bergamot splash and orris water

What I found:

The hair and body mist oil comes in the 3.4 oz size for a hair perfume $30 is actually a great price considering Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb hair perfume costs $50 just for an once. I never used an hair perfume before so I figured at this price why not considering there were no smaller or cheaper options for buying Heavenly Summer.

As for the scent it’s just well..heavenly! I am so in love, it’s a great sultry summer scent. Not too overpowering but sexy. There is that hint of a powdery scent like with the main heavenly scent but it’s hidden. It smells like a berry, floral scent.

Just a heads up don’t forget to shake the bottle up before you use it. The oil separates after a while, which is fine, just shake it!

I use this both on my hair, just the ends and I spray it on my body then I rub it in. I loved using it on my hair, the ends felt moisturized without being greasy. I feel like the scent lingered longer on my hair than on my body, maybe 2-3 hours of wear.

I liked using this on my skin too because it made my skin feel moisturized up until I realized it made my d├ęcolletage break out! čÖü This makes me so sad because I loved using it as a body oil too. I have to say 1-2 hours of scent wear time though.

PROS

  • Smells amazing
  • Great for using on my ends without making my hair greasy.
  • Made my skin feel moisturized without feeling oily afterwards.

CONS:

  • Broke my d├ęcolletage out
  • Poor Wear time, tops 3 hours of fragrance if worn in the hair.
  • Expensive for the poor scent time

VERDICT: I really wanted to love the hair oil but it’s just not for me. Victoria Secret Hair and Body Mist is a skip, too expensive for the poor wear time. I do recommend the fragrance Heavenly Summer. I plan on returning this to purchase the full size perfume instead.
