I have to say I was extremely excited for my Ipsy bag this month. I was beyond excited because the theme is ‘Girl Meets Glitter

I saw the bag on instagram and was instantly in love.  As the sneak peaks of products were revealed one by one the more excited I got. Click down below to see if this bag is a winner or a disappointment.

I love the bag. It’s a vinyl glitter bag., so that means no loose glitter everywhere. The pink zipper accent is adorable, and it’s a nice size bag as well. All my samples actually fit in the bag for once!

The first item I pulled out was Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco sulfate-free Hairspray – Can I just ask this one thing, when did hairspray start having sulfates as one of their ingredients? Why is that necessary to put that on the bottle? Okay I got that off my chest. I don’t normally use hairspray but I am willing to give this a try. The bottle is a decent size, and feels pretty heavy so at least there will be a good amount to sample.

I also received the J cat Wonder Lip Paint in Red Potion  I have to say I’m pretty damn excited to give this a whirl. I liked the OCC lip tars, but I don’t like that they didn’t really dry down without the matte gel. I can’t wait to see how this holds up against each other. I LOVE the color they gave me too. I have to say this might be the first J cat cosmetic product I’ve gotten in Ipsy that I like. I did do a swatch of it in my video below and it’s a bit water so be careful when applying.

Temptu Highlighter in S/b Pink Pearl – I have to say a little goes a long way with this. It’s a soft pink glow when applied. I like it, doesn’t blow me away but I like it. I will definitely adding this into my rotation.

Be a Bombshell cosmetics ‘Submissive’ Eye Base I love me some cream shadows because I like to use them as a base before I apply powder eyeshadow. Yet this stuff is not really pigmented, super creamy but not a lot of color pay off. The color is pretty but is not for a bold look by itself.I have to see if this helps the wear time of my eyeshadows and then I’ll get back to you.

Elizabeth Mott You’re so Fine black glitter eyeliner. I have to agree the felt tip is pretty fine, and in the video below you can see that it applies thin as well. There is square glitters in this eyeliner. I’m not sure on wear time yet since I haven’t tested it out but I’m pretty excited. Hopefully I’ll love it after testing.

Check out my un-bagging review of my Ipsy bag below!

I have to say that this bag has tons of repeat brands in it, but I’m excited to give all these a whirl. I’m impressed with the sizes of my samples, this bag is well worth the $10 I spent on it.
