Happy July 1st! Whoooew! I’m finally done my summer session! I am beyond thrilled that I did nothing but clean my room, and paint my nails! Not too excited but much needed!
I called my friend Ashley up, and she came over for a bit. We did our nails together doing 4th of July inspired manis! I love doing holiday themed nails! I just hope my lasts till then!
I pulled out my trusty Finger Paints “Laugh My Art Off” polish out for my patriotic theme nails. Which I realized I use every year for my 4th of July Mani see here and here (totally not my best work/too lazy to redo).
I did Finger Paints “Laugh My Art Off” as the base for my pinky, ring and thumb then stamped with konad white polish using the Bundle Monster stamp BM05 and BM14. I used Julep’s January on my middle and pointer finger then stamped with konad white polish using the Bundle Monster stamp BM05 and BM14. Nothing too interesting this year but I love it! SOOOOO much better then last years yucky one.
My friend Ashley did her manicure based off a few different patriotic skittle nails from pinterest. On her pinky and Thumb she used Finger Paints “Laugh My Art Off” over a base of Zoya Natty. Sally Hansen Diamond strength Diamonds & Rubies on her ring and pointer finger. On her ring finger she placed an anchor nail sticker on it. Then on her pointer finger she did white stripes with Art Club’s nail art duo. On her middle finger she did a sinful colors base coat topped with Julep’s America glitter top coat.
- A side note Julep’s America glitter top coat isn’t that great we both decided, it was clumpy and going right in the trash after this.
We had a ton of fun painting our nails for the up coming holiday! I can’t wait to look through everyone elses holiday mani, if you do a post on it on your blog post your links in the comments below so I can check them out!
