I was super excited when Sibu beauty reached out to me to try out this serum. I never used a serum before, will this serum live up to it’s name click down below to find out.

What it promises:

Experience the ultimate in skin hydration. This light, non-oily serum will flood your skin with moisture and deeply hydrate your face and neck to eliminate the tight, dry feeling caused by dehydration. Infused with vitamins and sea buckthorn extract, this serum fortifies the skin against the aging process and helps repair damage at a cellular level.

  • Promotes youthful skin tone and texture
  • Fights age without damaging chemicals
  • Brightens complexion and evens out skin tone
  • Helps protect against environmental stress

Sea buckthorn is known as nature’s most balanced fruit. This “Holy Fruit of the Himalayas” has been cherished by native Tibetans for centuries for its incredible nutritive qualities. Over 120 specific studies on sea buckthorn have shown that this little berry promotes health. From sea buckthorn’s rare abundance of some of the most powerful antioxidants to being the only plant in the world known to contain essential fatty acids 3, 6, 7 and 9 – sea buckthorn has earned its title of superfruit.

What I found:

I was asked to test out this Serum about a month and a half ago. I have never used a serum before so this was a first for me. I have to admit it felt weird putting an almost watery like substance on my face.

It rubbed in super quickly and made my skin feel instantly moisturized. I used it daliy at night for about two months now. Sometimes I even used it in the morning as well. I am only half way through the bottle! It’s crazy how a one little pump of the serum can cover my whole face!

I use this after I apply my La posy acne fighter. After I apply this serum I top with my normal Olay beautifying lotion. In the morning when I would use this I skipped using my olay lotion and went straight to applying my bb cream .

I have to say I really noticed a difference in my skin since I’ve been using this. My acne scars a little less noticeable. My skin is smoother. This did NOT break me out. It feels super ligtweight. I honestly really love this serum. I know I don’t really have any other serum use to compare this against, but how nice my skin feels since using it really proves how nice this serum is!

  • Lightweight
  • Does not break me out
  • Smoother Skin
  • Faire Trade items
  • cruelty free
  • Acne scars less noticeable
  • Softer Skin
  • Works well under makeup and other lotions
  • Did not react with my effaclar duo (My acne fighter lotion)
  • lasts a long time, a little goes a long way!

  • It’s so expensive, at $40 it makes me want to cry when I have to repurchase

VERDICT: Okay so it’s super pricey but I know I’ll still pick this up again. I totally
recommend it. Even with it’s crazy price tag! Sells for $40, and can be found here.

I have the Sibu SeaBuckthorn oil, and lemme tell ya…its one of the very few products that have ever dissolved my tiny and many nose blackheads. The other being plain jojoba oil. I might pick this up next time I'm at Whole Foods.
