I want to start off saying I received this to review as part of a Bzzagent Campaign. Yes I do realize that I did a review on it’s predecessor. With so/so results. I figured since I see all the European bloggers rave about the Garnier BB cream made for Oily skin I’d give this a whirl. Click down below if this is as new and improved as it claims.
I can thankfully say that they finally got rid of that god awful floral scent they put in the original BB cream! The second edition also covers my imperfections a little better. Pores are still noticeable.
This gave my skin an orange tone. I have no idea why BB creams can’t come in more colors than 2. Last time I checked we all don’t come in only two shades. There should at least be 6 shades in all BB cream. To cover the whole spectrum vs what they cover now.
I am just too fair for this Light/Medium shade. I did let my friend who has a darker more olive skin tone use this. It matched her a lot better. Except in photos it washed her out due to it having sunscreen in it. I feel like this would match those with darker, more tan skin tone. Well darker than me at least.
- Gave a dewy look
- Felt light on the skin
- Moisturized my skin
- Turned my skin orange.
- light coverage
- Can get greasy if not set.
- Pores still noticeable
|With Garnier BB Cream for Combination to Oily Skin|
As you can see from a lot of the photos that it honestly didn’t do a lot for my skin. I also found throughout the day that it would oxidize and turn my skin orange. Not fun.

VERDICT: I gave the new and improve version for Oily skin a try and it just didn’t fit up to par. This is a pass for me. Can be bought at drugstores, target, ulta and walmart for anywhere between $10-$15. I suggest if you do decide to try it wait for a sale.
What do you ladies think? Do you like the new and improved version? Am I the only one this turns orange?
