Eos lip balm in SummerFruit

Eos lip sphere in Summer Fruit

So I was at ulta a few weeks ago picking up more face masks, when I saw this on the stand they have showcasing the mini products. I read about how everyone raves about how much they LOVE these lip balms, so I being me of course had to try it. So I picked one up in summer fruit. If you want to see what I had to think about it click down below.

Eos promise: Can a lip balm make you smile? We think so. That’s why we invented this one.

Eos lip sphere in Summer Fruit

eos lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

So here’s what I thought: I like the smell a lot very fruity. There’s no taste to it. It glides on really smooth to my lips. It’s in a bulky container so its the biggest lip balm I own, so it’s easy to reach and grab it from a full purse. I don’t think I’ll be losing this anytime soon like my other lip balms.

I have been wearing this for about three weeks now. I apply it every few hours. It wears away pretty quickly, little less than an hour it lasts. I haven’t notice a change in my lips. Yes they are soft, but they were soft before I started using this.  My lips don’t feel that smooth, this promises to fully hydrate my lips. I found that it didn’t for me.

Verdict: Now while it did keep my lips soft, smelled nice, and would be an item that’s hard to lose. I’m not thrilled. I’m not wowed. I hear everyone swearing by this and I feel like it doesn’t live up to the hype. Will I buy this again? No, not at $3.30 a pop. If there was a two for one sale then sure, it keeps my lips from getting chapped. Yes this works but I would rather stick to my vaseline this winter. I’m looking for a replacement because I don’t want greasy fingers but I guess if it works why change it.
