Essie Starry Starry Night Dupe??

So I was in the FrankenPolish making mood, since I just got done making my polish for Laura’s Lacquer’s FrankenPolish Contest.  I was sitting on the floor of my dorm just looking at my collection trying to think of what I could create. Then BAM! It hit me like a STAR! I’d try to make a dupe for Essie’s Starry Starry Night! I think I did. It looks pretty damn good if you ask me! I love it. I know in the winter I will be wearing this more.

What I did was mix NYC black nail polish, just enough to coat the bottle on the empty polish bottle. Then I poured in 60% of China Glaze Fairy Dust. Then the rest is Sally Hansen’s Blue it! I think when I use this a little more I’ll add some more of the blue and glitter to lighten it up a bit more.

How it applies: It’s a little liquidly, but can be handled. It’s streaky and a little see through on the first coat, but after the second coat it’s a smooth color. It’s not a jelly polish like my beloved ESSN, (RIP I dropped it last year, it broke 🙁  ) But it does it’s purpose and fools others!

Verditic: This is super easy to make yourself. I love it and will be using this a lot this winter. What do you think? Do you think it looks like a dupe? Do you guys make your own frankenpolishes?

I can't believe they have a name for it. Franken 😛 Back when I was doing it, I just called it, ruining some polishes, lol
