I'm blessed with a super amazing fiance who every once in awhile buys me makeup. He went with me to buy the items I needed for our engagement shoot that's coming up next Saturday. Since Joe's sister-in-law offered to take them for us for free. I got to splurge on makeup!!!! Yay!!!!click down below to see what I picked up.
We stopped at the Sephora in the mall I worked at. One of the lovely girls helped me pick out the right shade using their IQ match system. I of course had to pick up Makeup Forever's HD foundation in N110. Since my face will be posted everywhere I decided it was time to splurge on this foundation. I've worn it a few times since I got to try a sample before I bought it.
I picked up Sephora's Super Nourishing Lip Balm which according to Pink Sith is a dupe for Fresh lip balms. I had to try it as soon as we got out of the store, and so far I'm loving it. I'll have to do a more in depth review of them both at a later time.
I picked up Urban Decay's primer potion. I love that they now are sold in a tube and not with a doe foot. I have engagement photos, a few weddings and the holidays coming up that I know will get lots of use out of it!
I was also given two samples of Kate Somerville exfoliKate, which is an intensive exfoliating treatment to use once a week. I can't wait to try this! Thankfully I got two samples!
We went to Ulta for false lashes since they were on sale for BOGO50% and I had a $3 off your purchase coupon too, but walked out with a ton of things.
I picked up the Kate Parry lashes in Sweetie Pie by Eylure. I tried this brand once before and these lashes feel super light! I love how this style looks super natural! I pick up two since they were BOGO50%. I also picked up duo clear lash glue. I really like this brand so I picked it up in clear since I am planning to use a blue eyeliner for my photos.
I didn't want to worry about touch-ups I picked up Urban Decay's De-slick setting spray. I've used the stay all night before so I'm hoping I'll love this one just as much.
Real techniques brushes were also BOGO50% so I picked up the Stippling brush because my ELF stippling brush is on it's last legs. I also picked up the Real techniques travel essentials that has the: foundation brush, multi-task brush, and the domed shadow brush.
As you can tell I'm very lucky, and very stocked up on all the makeup items I'll need for awhile. I felt like such a kid on Christmas! I love the feeling of getting new makeup!
What do you pick up in Hauls? What kind of lashes do you ladies suggest?
