Sinful Colorss: Ciao Bella! Swatches and review

I know that fall colors and fashions are out now, but I'm not quite ready to dive into those dark deep nail colors just yet! It's only the beginning of September!

I decided to go with Sinful Colors Caio Bella a bright sapphire blue. It's almost metalic with it's shine and subtle shimmer that I just couldn't capture on camera. I used OPI Teenage Dream on my ring finger for an accent nail. I wore this my first week back to school.

I wanted something simple but something that also highlights my lovely engagement ring which it really made the blue colors of my ring stand out. Or made it look super purple, it all depeneded on the light for what color my tanzanite stone looks like.

As for the wear of this polish I had to say I wore it from Friday to Tuesday while it was only 5 days it lasted pretty well in my opninon. I click around on a keyboard and touch screen all day at work so I only had one big chunk missing and a little nail wear to show by the time I removed it.

I know I'll be paint my nails this color again . Definitly in the winter!

August Favorites: 2014

I'm back in school for my final fall semester which is super scary but exciting at the same time. Honestly I'm not sure how much blogging time I will have between school, work, and spending time with my fiancĂ© it's pretty time consuming. I will try, but I am being honest  so I won't promise anything to you guys. I do have to give a quick shot out to those that continue to read my blog even during patchy posting times!
Freeman's Charcoal and Black Sugar Mask , Queen Helen's Mint Julep Masque, Origins GinZing Moisturizer, Sleek Brow Kit in light,MAC fluidline in Blacktrack,Urban Decay eyeliner in Plushie, august favorites

My engagement photo shoot is very fast approaching. September 20th to be exact, that is if it doesn't rain! We're just taking them around town which is filled with super lovely spots so I couldn't be happier. That being said I finally started using face masks regularly. I wanted my skin to be in the tip top condition it can possibly be in.

I've been using Freeman's Charcoal and Black Sugar Mask in the shower on days I shave my legs. I find that it's too messy to use it when I'm not in the shower. I do love this mask, I feel it instantly warming up my skin, not in a bad way. The sugar can be pretty harsh so rub lightly not too hard or you will scratch your skin.

I also have been using once a week the classic Queen Helen's Mint Julep Masque I use this once a week on my skin. I usually only put this on my cheeks and nose, but every other week or every two weeks I use this all over. I've been using this mask for years, not as regularly as I should but I always go back to it. I always go back with great reasons, this is great at clearing up blackheads and current acne. It doesn't clear up acne right away but it diminishes a pimples life span.

I started using Origins GinZing Moisturizer both day and night. I usually only use this in the morning to help wake up my skin but I've added it at night to help my skin be at it's best for September! I've been using this moisturizer since I was sent a sample years ago and continued to repurchase it. It can get pricey so I will probably go back to only using it in the morning so I can stretch the product out more. I firmly believe this moisturizer is worth every penny! My skin just feels alive when I use this! So fresh!

Skin care aside I've been keeping my makeup simple. I'm was using a BB cream on non-work days and my trusty Benefit They're real mascara.

I've kept to using my Sleek Brow Kit in light to keep my brows filled since I feel like making sure your brows are done completes your look. I love the combo of cream and powder to fill the brows.

I broke down and bought MAC fluidline in Blacktrack after my horrible experience with Benefit's They're real eyeliner which is the biggest makeup fail in my opinion. I went back to the classic gel liner for the control, and longevity.

If I don't have time to mess with gel liner I've been grabbing my Urban Decay eyeliner in Plushie which is this gorgeous dark purple liner. I'm so in love with how this color just makes my eyes pop! At first I was disappointed I gotten this instead of the mascara in my Ipsy bag but now I couldn't be happier. I do love Urban Decay eyeliners and have yet to a bad experience with them yet.

These are my month of August favorites, what have you guys been loving?
