Summer is coming!! Whew! That means it's leg season ladies! It's time to keep those gams in the best condition out there! I received a sample of Whish shaving cream in blueberry over a year ago in my birchbox. Now I have the full size, click down below to see what I think of this heavenly smelling shaving cream!
 What it promises:

Moisturizes
Natural Squalene: A source of Omega 3 fatty acids, replenishes and hydrates to eliminate roughness and dryness.
Organic Shea Butter: Has a high content of non-saponifiable fats which are the best natural skin moisturizers and are also high in anti-oxidants.
Organic Raspberry Butter: High in anti-oxidants, this attacks free radicals making it a magical moisturizer.

Smoothes

Organic Green Tea: A natural anti-oxidant to protect skin from free radicals.
Organic Coconut Oil: High in anti-oxidants, coconut acid; helps penetrate into the underlying skin tissue to deeply moisturize while preventing and protecting against free radicals keeping the skin young, healthy and beautiful.

Nourishes
Organic Jojoba Seed Oil: A natural emollient to help keep the skin supple and soft and maintain moisture.

What I found:

Summer is almost here and I can not wait. I've been pretty busy around home base lately, two jobs and a summer session. BUT my freedom from the summer session is coming just at the end of July. I know everyone's summer is starting how so I want to share with you how I keep my legs silky smooth with this amazing, and pricey shaving cream.

I first got to try Whish shaving cream in blueberry in my first birchbox.  I was in love after first shave. My skin felt so smooth and soft after I used it. No razor burn! I still get the occasional in grown hair with blueberry but that can't always be helped.

After I use the blueberry shaving cream I feel like I could go without using lotion, granted I don't because I know that's not a good idea but it still feels moisturized. Honestly this feels like one of those shower moisturizers.

As for Pomegranate shaving cream, I wasn't a fan. The smell wasn't that great as well as I didn't feel like it moisturized my skin the same. I didn't feel the same. My skin felt dry after I shaved, nothing like blueberry.

A tip for shaving is to make sure you wait for a few minutes in the shower before you do, the steam and heat helps you get a closer shave when you wait. I honestly have to say I've tried not waiting and I feel like I have stubble sooner. Honestly.

PROS:

  • Probably the smoothest shave I've ever had
  • Skin feels so soft after using the blueberry shaving cream
  • Smells devine! LOVE! - The blueberry scent that is!
  • Lasts for at least 2 months more if you don't shave as much
  • Creamy and semi thick consistency
CONS:
  • Pricey $20 a bottle
  • Pomergrante is drying and doesn't smell as nice as blueberry.

VERDICT: I wouldn't recommend the pomegranate scent but I'm in love with blueberry. I've been using the blueberry scent for over a year now. It's all I use to shave my legs. Thanks birchbox!
