This is the first non-seasonal Wen that I tried. Click down below to see what I think of Wen Lavender Cleansing conditioner!

NOTE: This Saturday(March 15, 2014) there will be a QVC TSV on Wen. The TSV is a replenishing treatment mist 2oz, and cleansing conditioner 32 oz. in your choice of a core scent (you could pick lavender). As well as Six thirteen cleansing treatment 16.oz and six thirteen styling cream 5oz all for $58.96!!!!!! Which is a steal considering a cleansing conditioner alone at the 32 oz size sells for $49!!! Click here to see my post explaining this TVS!

What it promises:
What is it: A revolutionary step toward beautiful, healthy-looking, shiny hair. WEN Cleansing Conditioner replaces shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, leave-in conditioner, and even shaving cream.

Who it is for: Lavender is a universal cleanser formulated for all hair types, particularly dry, dehydrated, or color-treated hair. Great for creating volume without weighing hair down.

Why is it different: WEN cleansing conditioner is detergent-free, yet gently cleanses and moisturizes.

How do I use it: Apply in four sections: crown, nape, ends on the right, and ends on the left. For hair above your ears, use a minimum of eight pumps (two pumps per section). For hair above your shoulders, use a minimum of 12 pumps (three pumps per section). For hair down to your shoulders, use a minimum of 16 pumps (four pumps per section). For hair past your shoulders, use a minimum of 20 pumps (five pumps per section). For hair to your mid-back, use a minimum of 24 pumps (six pumps per section). For thicker/coarser hair, increase amount of pumps in order to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hydrate ends. Please see FAQ tab for more specific information and approximate pumps per bottle.

What I found:
I was completely smitten with Wen when I first tried the Fall seasonal Fall Apple Spice (Review here).  After my friend Ashley's insistence I picked up the Lavender Wen to try because it's more suited for my damaged, color treated hair.

It was love at first use. I've been sulfate-free for 2 1/2 years now so using this cleansing conditioner I was used to the non-foaming texture of this.  It smells strongly of lavender when you first use this but as the day goes on the only time I can smell the lavender scent was when I directly sniff my hair.
As for how it works, it's just amazing. I can totally tell the difference in my hair texture right away. It was much softer than when I use a seasonal cleansing conditioner since this is specifically for dry and damaged hair. Lavender provided the moisture I needed, but at the same time my hair wasn't extra oily on second day hair. When I use Lavender wen I can go 2 days between washing my hair.
I usually do the double cleanse with my lavender Wen but sometimes if I'm short on time I only wash once and my hair is fine.
The health of my hair really has improved. It's not squishy anymore!!! I've been using my Lavender Wen at least once a week since November and now it's finally all gone :( I'm so sad!

Side Note: I love that he has on the bottle a 'common sense' warning. You know don't get this stuff in your eyes cause it stings.

Just look at the photos below to see how healthy my hair looks! In these photo my hair air-dried. The only thing I put in my hair at the ends was my split end repair when it was still wet.
