As a body shop card holder I just couldn't say no to all the sales they were having this holiday season. While my hands have been super dry this year with all the snow and cold I was looking for something moisturzing for my hands. Click down below to see if this hand cream did the trick!

What it promises:
This effective daily hand cream cares for nails as well as hands and contains two manicurist’s essentials: sweet almond oil and panthenol. Moisturizing Conditions nails Sweet almond scent

What I found:
I got a great deal at the body shop. I mean who didn't this holiday season. They're always running the buy 3 get 3 free deals.

I was excited to try the almond hand and nail cream as soon as I got it. I didn't get a chance to try the tester in the store because I already put something else on my hands. I picked up the almond because I found it's scent to be the most neutral of the three I saw on display.

The hand cream itself is very lightweight. Not really a cream at all, more of a lotion. I'm assuming it sinks right in because after rubbing in for maybe about 20 seconds it disappears. I don't actually feel much of a difference in the moisture level of my skin.

After using it all of December and most of January I can't say this helped the health of my hands skin at all. Which is a shame because I bought the 3 oz bigger size. I think I'll put this away for summer use because it's lightweight and it won't feel heavy in the hot summer.
PROS:

  • Smells nice, I can't put my finger on it but it's a neutral scent that wont overpower your perfume
  • Sinks right in
  • Eco friendly, made with Fair trade oils
  • Can be found on sale often
CONS:
  • Lightweight, more of a summer hand cream
  • Texture of a lotion not a cream
VERDICT: Well this hand cream isn't for winter use, but I know I'll use it in the summer. I hope I see the benefits then. I'm just convinced this isn't heavy enough for winter use. I give it an eh rating. It's not terrible, but it's also not great either. You ladies need to try it in the store to see if this is for you or not.

Have any of you ladies tried any of their other hand creams? How did you guys like them?
