My Boyfriend - Mr. J took me shopping for my early birthday gifts. We went into lush and I bought a few things. I was so excited to try the Santa Baby lip tint that I picked it up first in the store. I saw lots of post claiming how pigmented they are! Click down below to see what I thought about it!
What it promises:
To tint the lips and moisturize at the same time - I can not find the item description on Lush's website.
What I found:
The tint is filled to the top so you'll get a lot of bang for your buck. The product itself is very hard, you have to twirl your finger around in it to warm it up so your finger will pick up some product.
When it Lush said it's opaque they weren't lying. This tint is a super pigmented! It's a bright cherry red.
WARNING: If applied with your finger it will stain your finger a bright cherry red. Also super drying
I have to say it's nice that it does really taste like cola like it promises. The lasting time isn't there 2 hours. Doesn't last through eating or drinking.
It's super drying!! That it needs lip balm over and under it even them my lips felt parched still!
- Tastes like Cola
- Bright Cherry tint
- Super Opaque
- Not long lasting, 2 hours
- Does not last through eating or drinking
- Feels like a super matte and drying lipstick
VERDICT: I really wanted to love this, especially since I got this as a gift from my boyfriend, but this is a pass. I really don't like this at all, I kinda hated it to be honest. I really did want to like this honest. Seasonal item at Lush.
