Garnier Clinical Dark Spot Corrector review

Garnier Clinical Dark Spot Corrector review, garnier, dark spot corrector, budget spot corrector
If you were here in the first days of my blog you knew that I extremely bad acne. Went on a stint of accutance for the second time and it's just about completely gone away. Now I'm left with acne scars to hide. I decided to give this a try since it claims to just about erase dark spots. Will this live up to the claim? Click down below to find out!

What it promises:

What I found:

Well I used this for about 2 weeks before I wrote this review. A time previously I used it for 3 weeks. I know you must be shocked I tested it out for a short amount of time on two different occasions. The first time I was testing out two new products at the same time - I know a bad idea - and I broke out, with small bumps all over my forehead and jawline. I stopped use after 3 weeks when I was unable to figure out which product was breaking me out.

I decided few weeks ago that I would give this another go to help me feel more confident without face makeup. At the time this was the only thing different in my skin care routine. My skin broke out. In the same area of my forehead and jawline. So long story short I can not give this a proper review because this product broke me out and I could not test it for the proper amount of time.

One other big thing about this product is the classic Garnier floral scent. The scent is super overpowering! It was too strong. I notice with my sensitive skin products with an overpowering scent usually breaks me out. The perfume used in this product is what I think broke me out.

PROS:

  • None, I'm sorry this broke me out, I saw no skin improvements in this product.
  • I tested it at most of 3 weeks, not long enough to see results.
CONS:
  • Overpowering Scent
  • Broke me out
VERDICT: This product broke me out, and the scent is overpowering. I have nothing nice to say about this product. I won't bash it just because it didn't work for my sensitive skin. I bet someone else would love this, but it's just not for me. Sells for about $17 but could probably find it on sale for cheaper at your local drugstore. Pass.
