Covergirl Natureluxe products

I'll let you guys in a on a little secret. I'm a GIANT Taylor Swift fan, so if I was being honest I tried the Natureluxe products because she backed them. But If I were to say lie to you guys I would totally boast I was looking for a healthier and more natural face and lip products.

If you click down below you can find out what I think of these products!

Okay so I'm always looking for a better foundation, I have yet to find a favorite. So there was a sale and I had a coupon so I bought the Natureluxe liquid foundation. I think I bought it in a shade too light.
This is after I applied the foundation. It did not change
 the appearance of my skin.

The foundation is super lightweight and doesn't even feel like I'm wearing anything at all. I love the faint cucumber smell it has, but don't worry after a few minutes the smell disappears. I use clean fingers to apply this all over my face. The coverage is sheer. It feels like I'm putting on a watery tinted moisturizer.

Since I think I bought the wrong color it makes me look a little paler, but my skin tone matches the color on the tube, so it's either I bought the wrong color or the foundations run light. There really isn't any coverage to this product. You can still see my acne scars and my breakouts after applying this.

not rubbed in.
rubbed in.

Sure I could make this work by just covering every red spot with concealer but that just defeats the purpose of buying a foundation.

With that sale I also bought Natureluxe gloss balm in 210 Thistle. It was in my September favorites as well. Here.  I absolutely adore this product. It's super creamy and actually conditions my lips- like promised! It gives my lips a little color, but its manly just shine without the stickiness of lipgloss. Since I first bought this product I'm already on my second tube. That's how much I love this product! Go buy it!!

Verdict: So I say the Natureluxe foundation is a skip but the lip balm is a must have. I believe it fits nicely in with a college budget at $7. Also this week ulta is having a sale on the lip balm buy one get one 1/2off. As for the foundation starting at $12 and gives no coverage. That's a no go. It's a waste of money for me as a college student. Don't get me wrong I like this foundation a lot but if just fit my needs for a medium coverage foundation.

Hope this helps you in you shopping! Have you ladies tried any of these products? Do you love it or hate it?

I've used the foundation, and I think it's a nice, lightweight day time foundation. However, it's not great for a fuller coverage or a night out.
