ELF Liquid Eyeliner and Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

Once again I'm on the quest for a better eyeliner.  I know in another post about an ELF eyeliner, the cream eyeliner; I was not too nice to it or with ELF products.

Yes I'm not a big fan of a lot of their items, but their liquid liner is worth buying in my opinion if you want a cheap long lasting eyeliner.

I bought the liquid liner in both black and sliver.  The applicator is a thin, pointy felt tip. After many uses both remain as straight as when I first bought them. The liner applies like every other liquid liner out there, nothing special there. The bottle is quite small, but if used everyday it will last you over two months. The liner only costs a $1, and is long lasting so I say it's worth the buy. I also LOVE the color pay off on the sliver liner, it's a metallic silver color, and the black is a deep, deep black color.

I also tried ELF's waterproof eyeliner pen. The pen seemed dried out before I even used it. The black color seemed faded, almost a grey color when applied, yet the line I did make resisted against water and lasted a few hours. I think I would of loved this product if the color pay off was a lot better. I really hoped for this to work well because I found this pen to be the easiest to apply. This pen is $1.

Verdict: I'll be keeping both the sliver and black liquid liner,  but the ELF waterproof eyeliner pen will be getting the boot.

Items can be found at Target, and www.eyeslipsface.com

Do you like any of the elf eyeliners? What did you think of the color quality.

I have been reading all of these reviews for elf products online by a myriad of women and everyone seems to love them. I, however, don't have a Target where I live (I know, wtf) but I've been wanting to try it since I have heard tons of reviews!

My eyeliner obsession is Maybelline's Stiletto eyeliner. If you are looking for a good, quality liner that lines more like a pen then a brush, try that one. It lasts a long time so it's worth the price.

What do you think ELF makes the best?

by the way, my blog is cheapprettyblog.blogspot.com, if you couldn't find me. I'm so glad there is someone out there who can't afford high end stuff like me :)

i tried their liquid liner once but i think the tube i bought was kinda dried out because it didn't go on smooth at all and the brush sucked. i haven't tried it again since. my go to liner now is buxom gel liner by BE.

I've tried both the liquid liner and the waterproof pen. My experiences were pretty much the same as yours. I really like the liquid liner, but the pen was more than slightly disappointing. I really wanted to love it because the concept is great, but I'm just not a fan.
